Plum is a very lovely mid tone wood. When combined with this very elegantly designed style of pen you get an amazing combination. This is one of the thinner and lighter pens in my collection. By the way, the plum tree grew in my back yard but died from a common fungal disease. I have loved making pens with it over the years.
